Occupational health (OH) is the promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of physical, mental and social wellbeing of workers in all occupations by preventing departures from health, controlling risks and the adaptation of work to people and the people to their jobs (ILO/WHO, 1950)

 Demography is very important for health planning, recruitment and allocation of resources. Demography studies population development and other phenomena influencing population change as well as examining effects changes in population have on the economic and social development of society

 Drug and substance abuse are a global public health problem with alcohol and drug abuse phenomenon being as old as mankind. Use of illegal drugs and misuse of therapeutic drugs has spread at an unprecedented rate and affects every part of the globe
