Chapter four of Kenyan constitution 2010 on bills of right, section 43 part 1b gives citizens the right to access adequate housing, which must be of reasonable standards of sanitation. This module introduces you to building construction processes while linking it with its effects to health. As a public health officer, you will be required to inspect building sites to ascertain compliance with public health laws and other acts of parliaments so as to protect the health of people before an occupation certificate is issued. This module has six units and requires a total of at least 80 hours or 8 credit hours to complete. However, you will be required to spend more time undertaking tasks and assignments.
