 Demography is very important for health planning, recruitment and allocation of resources. Demography studies population development and other phenomena influencing population change as well as examining effects changes in population have on the economic and social development of society

 Drug and substance abuse are a global public health problem with alcohol and drug abuse phenomenon being as old as mankind. Use of illegal drugs and misuse of therapeutic drugs has spread at an unprecedented rate and affects every part of the globe

This is a third year course for the first semester and it is to take 20 hours

This is a course that will enable the student get to understand medico-legal issues, get to understand the code of conduct for clinical officers and the medical fraternity as a whole.
